Hi all,

wanted to ask if it is possible to get an A3 Sportback users manual as electronic version such as pdf that I can have it on my iPad.

Regards,
tom

Sadly not. Audi haven't released electronic copies. Think we should start writing into them and get them to change their mind!

Yes, that would be nice. Otherwise I have to scan it and convert it to pdf but that would be a job

Regards,
tom

You could try pointing it at closeup photos from the brochure.

I letter to Audi back on 4 November 2013 asking if they could tell me why they do not make their Owner's Manuals available on line in the same way as Skoda. I did not receive a reply so I followed this up with an email referring to my letter and asking the same question on 19 November 2013. I followed this with another email on 10 December to the Customer Services Manager so I thought it was bad manners for them not to have replied to either the letter or the email. I have still not heard anything from them.

Fortunately my dealer has been much better and has lent me a copy from one of their demonstrators until my new 8V arrives.
I have scanned the pages relating to the s-tronic so if you would like to send me a PM with an email address, I will send you copies of the scans.

I got one on a DVD with my car that I've loaded into the MMI...

Is it the full Owner's Manual (all 302 pages) or just the normal In-Car version. If it's the full version can you copy the DVD or is it locked in some way.

Thanks Dave, the PM server is down, but as soon as it starts working again, I'll send a PM! :)

I don't know which version and its not in a format that my software can read, non pdf or text. I'll have another look tonight...

Sounds like the normal one used in the MMI system rather than the A5 size printed copy that you get in the wallet with the vehicle. I have a copy of the In-Car Manual which I download from a German website some time ago and I Google to translate it for me.

I had to load it in first though I've not actually looked through it to see the contents, again I will look a little later. However it did take about 5 mins to load it in..

Looked at it in the car and it does contain both the full car manual and the MMI one as well both of which can be viewed via the MMI system. I will investigate the CD when I get home...

No, just from looking at it on the MMI. Or at least some kind of hypertext markup anyway.

Yes they are all HTML files that, when you open them, look like the electronic version Dave has but in whatever language...
