Finally got the S4 in for painting yesterday. Full front end getting done plus my LPG filler cap colour coded and the chrome grill surround and badge plastidipped in black. My arches were getting to the point where there's no point washing the car as it just highlighted the rust start to come through.

Still to be finished but should get it back for Friday in time for an Audi meet on Saturday.

Cheers, quite excited about getting it back although seeing it looking white at the front makes me wish I had the money for a full change to white.

I'd love a white S4 Avant.
Recently had the front of mine re-painted and a pair of new wings, it makes the world of difference. The only down side is now I have to park miles away from any other cars as I don't want any scratches.

Someone on here wrapped his Red one white. Think his username was cfoster or something?! Haven't heard from him in a while now, so assume he's moved on but his thread and pics should still be around. It looked great in white.

And can't wait to see the finished results! I have a few areas on mine where it's starting to rust slightly too. Not sure I'll bother getting it sorted, just seems a lot of money on a high mileage dirty diesel :) if I had an s4 I'd be doing it though ha!

Yeah that rings a bell, the white wrapped A4 avant. I can't remember seeing the final pics of it though.

Looks nice in white although I'd have done the door blades white too.

Looking good! I had similar work done to mine a few months back.

Dont do what I did though - I reversed in to the girlfrieds car reversing off the path!.... nice chip of paint off the rear bumper now :(

Hi, yes normally based at Leuchars but I'm on exercise in Suffolk for 3 weeks, otherwise I would be there in a flash (

Shame you cant make this meeting, hopefully you get to Edinburgh Audi end of september meet. :) x

Was it your choice or theirs to repair the original wings rather than replace them?
