9 to 5 Music

Seeing as I spend most of the time in my car between the 8-9am and 5-6pm period
Just wondering what all you guys are listening to ?
My local radio (MFR for inverness members) is pretty bad in the morning and Radio 1 doesn't have much music.

P.S Maybe time to go DAB lol

this may sound sad,
but trust me, radio 2 on a morning with chris evans is really good!
quite funny and varied with no adverts and not the old fart station that it used to be!
regional radio crammed full of adverts is not my cup of tea, and radio 1 is bobbins now!
try it! you might like it!

I agree with chez, Evans is ace on radio 2! Plus, he's a car nut so seems to spend his life talking cars which is nice.

I'd listen to radio 2 all day if I could, I think it's ace. I hate radio 1 and local stations.

I tend only to listen to music in the car if driving in the evening. During the day, I usually have 5 Live on. I'm a rock dinosaur so I stick to Planet Rock and Team Rock. Both are DAB-only,though. Haven't listened to Radio 1 since 1984.

It's probably for the best, radio 1 is awful these days. Or maybe I'm just getting old? It all feels forced, that's my problem. Chris moyles was brilliant, but things have changed.

Had BBC 2 this morning, was good with see sick Steve and chris evens on about all the car meets going on!!
think ill listens to it more offer now.
Just need to get something for going home now.

Are those other one only on DAB channels?

Ken Bruce and pop master, ( still never got 39 points)

Occasionaly MFR in the winter for the road closures

Another vote for radio 2, seems popular with car lovers..
yeah that's probably the only thing MFR is good for haha.

Radio 2 man my self .
from when i start in morning 6am (altho occasionaly 4am) radio 2 is on from the dark lord , right thru to simon mayo!
personally my fav is ken bruce and pop master 10.30(ish) altho never get anymore than 20 ish
also like chris evans and i never though i would say that as i couldnt stand him on tv when he was young !

Typical though was looking forward to chris on radio 2 this week and he decides to take a two week holiday still ill listen the the other wify that's in.

Radio 1 is ok if Scott Mills is on but can't bear to listen to that p*ick Grimmy or the immature whinnying wench that is Sarah Cox! (even though she has been fired TWICE by Radio 1, they have taken her back!!!) Don't know why they didn't give Scott Mills the morning slot. I did occasionaly listen to MFR but suddendly couldn't pick it up anymore.
