Can this car give me anymore grief ... I've had to replace various airflow sensors, an intercooler to eventually find that the diaphragm in the inlet manifold was causing my A4 2.0tdi 170 to go into limp mode ... The injectors failed and shut it down ... The a dizzy teenager rear ended me at 40mph while I was stood still .... Now six months later the ****** thing has died ... It stalled in traffic and there's nothing there when I turn the key ... Dash all lights up normally but then nothing .... Plenty of power in the battery ... Plenty of fuel ... It's not cranking, buzzing or anything ... It's just dead 😫

Has anyone encountered this before I ring Audi Sheffield to come and get it and ready myself for another massive bill 😥
 
Sorry about all the trouble you've had, not fair really.

Ideally needs scanning to check for errors as I would of said starter motor, but it died already started of course, check fuses aswell.

Bez is local to you, ask if he can pop over to have a look as he's very handy/helpful :)
 
Cheers fella does he have a contact number? ... I've spoken to E&S Swift VAG Specialists who are quite close ... They're supposed to be coming for it on Wednesday but if I can find out what's up before then it'd be better ... I'm just glad it died when it did and not the day before when I had my 4yr old nephew and my wife's cancer riddled mother in the car with me ... We'd go to the coast for the day as a bit of a treat for them both ... Can't begin to think how that would have played out
 
Yeah but if he's tested the battery (subject to confirmation as ideally needs a ctek to check ideally) then it would possibly indicate its charging ok, but yes its definitely one to check aswell.

I've arranged for a tow to E&S Swifts VAG Specialists ... Hopefully it's something easy to fix ...

Car delivered to E&S Swift ... Have to wait till Wednesday now ... God damn bank holidays 😤
 
should have waited for me sunday or monday
could have been a very simple fix with hardly no expence
ah well they will sort it
