5-door a3 1.8T ???

Hey peeps, My a3 is the 5door version and ive noticed that every pic or conversation ive read so far is all about the 3door lol ... Is there any peeps here with a 5door version ? Be good to know what mods theyve done ...

Also i have a couple questions regarding headlights etc -

Found some nice headlights but they say its for the 99 a3 but the headlight and indicator is all one unit wereas my 5door is 99 but had seperate headlight and indicator ... Will this fit ??

Exhaust wise (this is a dumb question so if you want to take the p*** go ahead and entertain yourselfs lol) Is the 5door and different from a 3door in length of the piping etc , So could i buy a a3 exhaust system from front to back and it would fit both versions ?

The headlights are a facelift conversion. Wing needs slight alteration and so does the wiring. Loads of info on this in the stickies

In what way alteration mate ? I don't really want to go messing with the bodywork just to fit some headlights lol

When you remove the old headlights there is a metal lip that sits behind. You just need to cut that away

let me know how the headlights go as i want some but they are also for the pre facelift, i have a 5 door and have done pretty much majority of mods int he stickies i have a build thread on here "tims max power"

most 5 doors look a bit dodgy, but done right, with nice wheels and ride height, they can actually look really cool!

A chap called Dan angel had one several years ago, with 18'' RS6 wheels on, and it looked like a Mini audi estate, looked pretty cool, then there's reesys double denim destroyer with too many doors also.

they can look nice with a few choice changes
