Hi
Just received my spoiler that ordered of eBay. Had a quick fit to see what it would look like before I sent it off to get painted.
What do you guys think.

Looks nice, I have one on mine - Be careful not to catch it on anything other wise it will just crack ever so easily....

I would be slightly worrid if you used nails on anything on your car :/

I used double sided tape (Used for instaling UPVC window units to frames) and some Silicone/Tiger seal equivelant.

Once i stuck it up and the tape held, i also applied some gaffer tape to pull the corners in tight.

Let us know how it goes,

Is it not the votex spoiler for the 2005+ car with the big grill?

Personally I would have bought an S-Line front bumper but good to see the votex (if it is) spoilers still being used! My old A3 twin grill still has the spoiler on!

I was looking for an S-line bumper for quite some time but decent ones seem to be going for too much.

LOL I know, sounds crazy but I only asked because there was another post where the guy used nails to secure it because their so easy to come off.

that was more likely 'no nails' the very strong adhesive ,, saying that the cheapo front splitter on my wife's 206 was held on with staples !:faint:

Did you not maybe get sline bumpers for good price in breakers yards?

Haha the mrs 206, tht sounds about right.

Yeh I went to a few places managed to get a facelift rear bumper for cheap but S-line front bumpers were still to much for my liking. Thought I may swell save up a bit longer and go for the s3 look.

just get tiger seal sickoflex and be done with it

any body panel shop sickoflex is the same
anazon ebay small motor factors etc etc

Just on another note, does anybody know of any exhaust tips that will fit my a3. The problem I have is Iv got the 1.9TDI which has the dual exhausts that point downwards.
