Hi, I've been searching through many forums now to try and find the answer. Ive got a 58 reg A3 2.0 tdi 170 CR. Has anybody fitted a DTUK tuning chip with their DPF still fitted? If so how long have ya ran it for without any problems?

Thanks Paul

My post may be largely useless as I don't have a diesel.

But member ABYSS is a DTUK representative and has his own section. Maybe shoot him a PM and ask the question mate. If there was any issues popping up then he would be the first in the line to know about them I would have thought.

I run a DTUK CRD-T box, been on both my 335d BMW coupes, 50,000 miles on one, 100,000 on the other, and now on my A6 Avant 3.0 TDi .... Only done 10,000 so far with this one but still, collectively over 160,000 miles on DPF equipped cars - not once had an issue !

And I do tend to "drive" my cars in a more "spirited" fashion ;)

great just the answer I wanted to see. Can you feel a big difference in torque/acceleration as would would with a remap or does it seem to smooth out the original map making the power more usable?

Thanks Paul
