I Had a play tonight with a local subaru impreza classic that's been dyno'd at 323bhp and 319ftlbs and rolling from 60 there was pretty much nothing init all the way to the last digits on my speedo any diffence would have been a quicker gear change from either of us I have a dyno print for k26 turbo'd s3 328.2bhp and 467.5nm.

how would you say I did against the impreza ?

what's your car spec? Is it a wrx sti? what year the subaru?

my cars spec is s3 2000,has mtm k26 turbo conversion that made 328.2 bhp and 467.5nm recently put a s2000 filter onit and has a blue haldex controller and r32 rarb,ap coilovers and poly bushes, porsche 4 pot front brakes, the impreza is also a 2000 and a wrx I believe but has had different turbo and other other engine mods done to and was mapped and dyno'd at 323bhp and 319ft/lbs

With similar power, it was always going to be even on the move, and personally, I think you did well, being in a heavier car! :racer:

yeah I thought I done well tbh he was saying his car weighs 1300kg with half a tank and with than in the s3 would be about 1500 I believe ? So it got me wanting a bit more power lol I have the oversize tip Stacey used with his k26 just needs to have pcv delete before fitting and need to get my finger out and get cash together for a custom map from bill

Custom map ftw!

For sure mate,I had the money together for a map 3"downpipe and catch can but went to a festival and two weeks on standby from work put a stop to it so need to get the saving head on again lol

I had a couple "on the shelf" map from a couple big names tuning companies, some were bad, some were Ok, none was good enough to my liking :(

To my bad luck, no custom tuning yet available for the ME7.5 in country were the car is

A custom map is essentially tailored to the car so it's getting 100% out of car and safely so far better to anything generic
