Shark stage 1 with miltek tbe

As above just wondering if any one is running a miltek turbo back with only a stage 1 remap? Really considering just bursting the bank and going for the exhuast aswell not wanting stage 2 just yet want to have a play at stage 1 first then save up for clutch and maybe stage 2 next year just got my revo cai delivered today 😄

If your going to get a Miltek TBE then it would be silly not to go for a Stage 2 if you have a CAI. Why pay twice for a remap and there isn't much difference between 1 and 2.

I have SHARK Stage 1 and Milltek TBE. (car is DSG)

The map on its own is great.
The Milltek makes it even better again. Really made a difference.

Was very tempted with CAI and then Stage2 but as the car is so new I was nervous about dealer visits with CAI sitting so conspicuous in the engine bay.

The Milltek is `just` an exhaust so doesn't really phase the dealers (if they even notice) and the map is switched to stock using the STS switch.

Anyhow, in short, Stage1 and TBE Milltek works really well.

Yeah It does seem silly not going for stage 2 but I kinda just want to go for the stage 1 power first been told stage 2 will require a clutch maybe not straight away but it all seems to vary mines is a 59 plate manual so would rather the stage 1 see how I get on with it first I already think the car Is quick so maybe stage 1 will be enough for me to be honest, and will mean car is running a bit safer with less power ? Will also give me something els to look forward to next year might go stage 2 what's the sts switch? I used an eds hand help unit on my old car that same thing?

The STS (Self Tuning System) is the handset you get for map switching/loading/reading and basic diagnostics.

Stagr one makes a good diffrence. I got shark stage one done by broadster and am very happy with it the now. Im getting cat back milltek fitted this weekend and plan to get cai and then brakes in the not to distant future ( brakes cus I belive with more power you should have more stoppung power). In a while might do down pipe and stage 2? See how things go as fancy tighter suspension aswell haaa

Yeah I searched for the sts it's same thing as I had before but I don't think ill bother getting 1 I'm actually going to put my map back a month/6 weeks as I really want miltek tbe and I just got the revo cai so didn't budget for them so need to save haha think stage 1 will do me by the sound of it all you guys seem very happy
Did you have you car put on the rolling road or that after map? To have it checked see how it's running? Or checked on the road?

Don't forget if go with the Revo stage one which is 20% off until 18th August, then if want to go to stage 2 later on, then it's only the £50 difference to pay upgrade/difference between stage 1 & 2 prices. Also with Revo gives you ability to go even further in the future.
