S Line Air Vent - Front Right

I adjusted the front right air vent (right of the steering wheel) today and it kinda fell apart on me. On further inspection when I got home I tried to retrieve the 2 No metal clips that cause the vents to tilt up and down but they both dropped inside the vent
Does anyone know where on earth I can get 2 replacement ones and how on earth do you refit them!?

you have to buy the vent.simple to remove and refit.If you let me know what year ill get you a part number

Thats just happened to mine on monday, while away on holiday. Had a quick look on ebay and they all seem to be for the passenger side. Might be lucky soon.

I have one, but it's in kit form; whilst fitting my carbon trim it just imploded.
Had a quick go at re-assembling, but had a spare one, so quickly lost interest.
All parts are included, the housing, slats and the two metal up-rights, but you'll need steady fingers and good eyes.
I had it on ebay, but no takers so decided to keep it for spares (I have a Manta so old habits etc) but if your interested, let me know.

This is the one I have, I don't think that their is a difference between S-line and non S-Line, but it is the original one from my 2008 S-Line. Just to confirm the dial is illuminated and all parts are in the attached bag.
I'll reply to your PM, but thought it easier to post the image up here.

Any chance your car is under warranty, just gave my local dealer a phone and sent a couple of photos to them and they said they can replace the air vent under warranty this coming saturday. They also said it's becoming a common problem with this model !!

No unfortunately it's out of warranty. It's a pretty basic design so I'm not surprised its becoming a common problem. I have managed to fix mine but not sure how long it will stay fixed for!

I've exactly the same problem. How did you fix yours ? The bottom two flaps on my vent don't work and a recent jingle noise tells me the metal connecting bar has fallen down.
