I didn't notice this in the thread so far - way before remote control we had - bigtrack, 14 forward, 8 right, reverse for the trailer...erm I'm not sure it ever actually worked but it was fun all the same. The ones you can buy these days are much smaller, or I'm bigger lol!

Big trak

Great thread!

Mmmm sweets, and you could still get change from 10p, those were the days.

Great thread!

I always wanted a bigtrack after continuously watching the adverts on Children's itv, and they rereleased for sale not long ago as a retro toy, but I couldn't justify buying one now, plus it was a stupid price aswell.

I loved my Transformers and Lego aswell back in the day.

I also have an almost complete one of these in its original box in my loft, paid a tenna for it 25yrs ago!

Since we're getting close to the release off the next Gen consoles, a little reminder where it all started.

It all started with 'TV games'. Rich kids would play on their Atari2600's whereas we had to make do with this (but we loved it :D)

Ladies and gents...I give you the Binatone Superstar Programmable Colour Video Entertainment Master Console
Tvgame

We had the SUPERTEN cartridge (Pong/tennis, hockey, basketball, etc), KNOCKOUT (Breakthrough game variants) and my fave STUNT RIDER (cr@ppy motorcycle games). Luckily there were only 4 TV channels that my parents couldn't watch while we played this :)

:lmfao: :applaus:

Anyone remember getting up to turn the TV channels over!

i had cylindrical push buttons on theTV and there were only 4 of them! actually remember getting out first colour TV too!

Ok just to add to the mix,

flight deck ..... Hours of fun over one Christmas only when my Dad and uncles let have a go.

Speaking off Ataris, where it all began..…..........

Or Sensible Soccer on the Atari ST..............

speaking of telly!
i can remember when television used to be good!
saturday night tv was quality! chips, the fall guy, game for a laugh etc, way way way better than all this celebrity, phone in to vote ****** these days!
and while i am on the subject, what was the kids tv all about in the summer holidays? i mean,'why don't you'? what a load of bobbins that was!
but then again, we had mr ben, pigeon street, rhubarb and custard and the magic roundabout, the moomins, the wombles, jamie and his magic torch etc to equal things out! lol :arco:

This is a car forum yes?

So how about Matchbox Steer n Go?

yup, can't forget Matchbox.

Reminded me off these, hours of fun launching cars into oblivion, and if you got bored with that a length of track aslo made an awesome big brother repellant, it smarted. :slapped:

Went to Jamie's Italian restaurant yesterday, and they use these 3D viewers for the kids menu.

That's pretty cool. I bet it's more off a blast for the parents though.

some more TV Gold........
