I known what you mean... They are 18" though. I think I kind of like them as they're different. But if they're halfords classics then I think I'll stay well clear!

If they're dirt cheap and a direct fitment to your car, then you could always keep them as a spare set. e.g. for when winter comes

No, they are a quality wheel, and expensive back in the day. Shame the chrome centre caps are missing from them. I had a set in 19" on my Passat over 10years ago!

I'm a wheel whore, my Passat has had maybe 8 different sets now over 12 years, S3 due to lack of use has had 4 different wheels.

No so much these days though, sign of getting old, and more interested in engine tuning and chassis setup now.
