this is a link to Audi web site that says you can stream music with a S4 galaxy via blue tooth, but not sure if spottily works.plus some info.
I'm sure some one that already has their car can confirm and how it works.

I think it should be possible but you might have to use the playback controls on the phone. Effectively the car is acting like a pair of Bluetooth headphones.

There is an app on Google play called Audi music stream or something. It let's you listen to internet radio stations but I don't think it will do Spotify.

I think the app only works with the tech pack and audi connect as it uses the WiFi to stream it?
I would like to be proven wrong as although I have ordered the Tech Pack I didn't spec Phone Prep High as I use an iPhone and as you know it's not compatible.

Yes, it works fine with S4/Bluetooth/Spotify. It also works to switch song with the volume knob. But no info about what song you are playing is shown on the MMI display. For that you have to look on your phone's display.

It definitely is compatible! What you mean is you couldn't use the phone connection and data connection at the same time, or would have to take your sim out, but there is a software update to fix this coming anyway.

Yes that's what I mean ;) no remote sim access, but after weighing up the options, i.e. would need extra data SIM card, will I use Facebook, will I use twitter, will I use street view, will I use WiFi hot spot, simple answer no all built in phone if needed ;).

What I was meaning was the Internet radio app needs the WiFi hotspot in the car to work as it streams over WiFi not bluetooth oddly enough? But I believe if you connect your phone via bluetooth for audio it will play any sound from your phone, like the "Pure" Internet radio app I use. This is how I understand it anyway, 5 more weeks and I can try it for real :D

This +1

I found out with spotify does work but you need to open the app on your phone, set it play and from there you can skip or repeat songs. I suggest download a playlist and then shuffle that bad boy. I thought I would have to use my SD card for all my music but since I can play it through my HTC One X then all is good.
