Im looking to order all the parts to upgrade my stereo to an aftermarket unit, just wanted to check i have all/the right parts.

I have an A4 2.0T S Line, with a Concert head unit and the Bose speaker system. What im looking to order is...

Removal keys: PC5-93 Audi TT A3 A4 A6 Stereo Radio Release Removal Extraction Fitting Keys | eBay

Bose adaptor: CT51-AU01 Bose Active System Adaptor

Alpine UTE-72BT: Alpine UTE-72BT Media Receiver

Facia adaptor: CT24AU03 Facia Plate for Audi A4 2000>

Aerial booster: AUDI/VAG/VW /Seat /Skoda Amplified Aerial booster DIN | eBay

Now i think that should be all i need. Let me know what you all think though, id like to get it all ordered asap. Thanks in advance!

with the engine youve listed im assuming its a b7
the removal keys should be o.k but some stereos require 4 keys to remove them

the bose adaptor yove listed in only one of a couple of differnat ones .... you need to find out what bose system the car is running
is it fully amplified or rear and sub amplified ???

the fascia adaptor youve listed is for a B5 AUDI SO PRE 2001 if your car is a b7 then it needs a later fascia adaptor

Its a b7 yeah. I can only see 2 slots on the stereo, so i think that will be fine.

How can i check which system i have?

Right, ill check on ebay for another facia adaptor

Thanks for the reply!

my advice is nip into halfords or a small independant car audio shop
they should be able to look and tell you which system you have

As its a single din, then its iso of course, 2 keys is fine & as its Bose its fully amp'd with feeds to amp & speakers out from the amp afaik.

Been searching the webs and the Bose system is always fully amplified. The non Bose system has an amp for the sub and rear speakers. In which case the adaptor i linked should be fine.

yes thats the correct facia adaptor if you have the chorus headunit or single din concert

Sorted, thats the one i need then. One last thing, can i just clear up the deal with the aerial. I'll need a booster because the signal wont be strong enough for the aftermarket head unit to pick up right? Where is this adaptor installed?

Thanks again for all the help!

most standard audi units will require you to add a booster , but some cars have actually got an amplified aerial fitted as standard
i would suggest you try it first to see if it works and then if not simply order an aerial booster

they can be fitted in between the back of the new headunit and the old wiring
they should come with a short blue lead which will require splicing into the original wiring loom (sometimes this is white sometimes its blue)

Thanks for that!

I've emailed car audio direct with this query, not sure if any of you guys would be able to help me with it.

From what I know, the concert single din unit is iso rather than quadlock?

http://www.connects2.co.uk/VehicleProducts.aspx?Manufacturer_ID=4&Model_ID=24

According to this site, the 05 model should be quadlock. Or maybe I should just ignore this.

I think I'll need the CT53-AU04??

Any help will be great, I'm excited to get it all ordered.

05 non rns-e cars are iso, late 06 onwards are quadlock for all units.
