No you don't :( just checked and cleaned my discs and they are ********! Just ordered a set of Brembo discs. Should have them later today. Will upload pics now now.

That sucks dude... But on the positive at least your getting brembos:superman:

Price on the discs? Hehe... I'm still considering options for my brakes...

drilled will always crack with hard use dude. theres no real advantage to the drilling.

love this progress though

Thanks Buddy! Main reason i got these is because i got it at a great price and they have to be better than what i had on previously.

As demanded by some here are some updates. Nothing big, but still updates :)

The previous valves ended up not being what i wanted so i ordered what was needed (all 20) and new valve guides (all AE)

Then i got to cleaning and spraying a few bits and bobs, aswell as changing shocks and shock mountings.

Next was thinking of replacing my current DV with this one

One side assembled

Next was removing and welding shut nipples not needed on the TB and IM

IM being Sprayed

The Valves and guides went to the engineer on Monday, and the new pistons went in on Tuesday. Now i just wait for everything then i can start assembling.

Enjoy and thanks for looking.

Yep. Dropping it off this afternoon. Can't wait any longer for it and I keep getting the run around from this friend of mine for the parts (which I've already paid him for:mad:). He makes arrangements with me and changes his mind. Then he also tells me he doesn't have the time to do it or help, so if he can, he will have to do it in his free time and will take a while.

Some good news. Seems like i will be getting my head, block and crank back tomorrow! Can't wait! For now just a few quick pics.

Mounts (Now completely filled):

Springs fitted to the other shocks and Poly shock mounts:

Thanks for looking! More updates coming soon!

So i still have not received my head, block and crank back yet, but i have carried on with the cleaning and removing of the A/C. Wheels are back on the car. Also i am going to be helping the boss man with the golf.

Some quick snaps of the Golf aswell.

Your car is coming along nicely... It sucks waiting for parts man! Hope you get everything you need soon...

Some good news! I will be getting all my engine bits back tomorrow ;D Also i got my injectors back, cleaned and pressure tested (thanks Miggz for dropping them off and collecting them). Can't wait to start.

Thanks for looking

So i got my block, pistons, rods, head and crank back. I have connected rods to pistons, installed the cir-clips (what a mission). Will be assembling the bottom end, and checking clearances on Monday.

Thanks for all the kind words

Seems my Photobucket account has broken, so had to create a new one. I am just busy sorting everything, making sure nothing is missing. I should start with the bottom end later today.

That is all for now.
