1.8t turbo chatter

My QTS has developed turbochatter/ a dump valve sound on lift off. I know that these engines aren't meant to sound like this so what could be causing it? Worn Diverter valve?

The car is feeling slow also, not sure if it's connected though as could be another issue.

Standard 710 iirc from Audi from the 225 BAM engine or Forge 007 if you want aftermarket.

Yep forge 007p i run this some say they leak and spit the seal but mines fine and running great !!

or you could get the new revised 008 !!

007/008 waste of money. I have a revised 007 on mine, no leaky, but only cos it was fitted when i bought it. I'd go OEM given they are £30 and last 10 yrs or more and hold up to 2 bar perfectly

only if it's under about 4 mnths old, otherwise contact Forge for the revised piston kit. I had mine for free no questions asked.

i bought it end of 2011 iirc

will contact forge see what they see, how did you get it for free ??

Mine looks like the piston in tge top right ???

I think the Forge one is a decent option, expensive bit of bling but i always prefer metal over plastic.
the placcy one I had introduced a bit of hesitancy responding to quick decel/overrun - acceleration
never had that in 8 years of 007 ownership
