I've got 9 years NCB according to my insurance company, but I'm sure it's more than that...

I've only ever had one fault claim which cost me my NCB which was in 1999 (tyre blow out, which wrote my 1st car off). The only other fault claim I've ever had was in about 2005/6 (Can't remember exactly) but I had protected NCB then...

Think perhaps I have to dig through all the old insurance docs I've got to try & find out exactly what the position is...

Well thank you indeed. See, I'm not a dole dosser! I walked out if uni and straight into a job. I didn't even have a week off.

Chez, if you come all the way to see me I'll buy you a big Mac. I've still got my student card so I'll get 27p discount. :moa:

What's the new job then?

You were/are a car salesmen?

Love inductions for a new job...such a honeymoon period :)

I am basically Mr Mazda, been working Mazda as a salesman in the South West for a few years now. Without blowing my own trumpet or being a massive penis or anything I am by far the most profitible and active Mazda Salesman within my region.

Split up with the missus, and moving back to Basingstoke. So I can't stay in the South West.

I got a job offer from a Mazda dealer in Basingstoke over the phone, so I said yes over the phone and agreed to come down for an induction day today.

Got down here, and it turns out they haven't got a position within Mazda because the MD of the company's son is currently working as the Mazda salesman for that dealer. So I have changed across to Fiat, which will be cool!

Funky cars, enthusiastic owners and a good product. 99.9% of my time will be selling Pandas and 500's. But the Panda is the long established "best" small cheap car on the market, and people actually want 500's and go out to buy them.

So assuming I can transfer my knowledge and sell on the Fiat's + sides, I should be onto a winner.

That said, it's going to be a huge shock to the system going from being top of the tree to the new boy who is learning is product.

I'm looking forward to the challenge, and I'm looking forward to broadining my sales experience. Very, very happy with the outcome.

Morning pubbers.
My little girl has just crank called 999 police 😧even though the phone had key lock on.
My wife has just had a telling off!
Not the best start to the day. Lmao.

Morning mofos!

Looks like I'm heading to the local dubclub meet in Coventry tonight with a few other members, if anyone else fancies turning up? Rhubarb and Gops should be there, Nilz is undecided, Johnnythepie should be there and Arrkon is usually there.

Fiats not to shabby to be fair - If it was a choice between the two I'd prefer to buy a Fiat than a Mazda tbh....

I mean a Fiat is basically a mini Ferrari anyway ;-) lol

Then with an Abarth badge on you're laughing :D

Having only just got rid of the most unsporty "sport" model Mazda 2, I can categorically say that I'd rather have a Fiat. (500 Abarth. obv)

Morning all btw!

Hmm, aren't the fiat panda the fiat 500 the mazda 2 just a ford ka anyway?

i would have neither!

morning all

Locked phones can still dial emergency numbers.

Nothing worth than being chased by a axe murdering psycho and trying to unlock your phone.

You comparing them to the Ferrari 308 GT4?

Jobs probably safer with Fiat though tbh and these days thats what matters.

But they've all improved and got better.
Fiat is still ****e!! :)

Haha- that is true...(Unless it has an Abarth badge on they're not worth a look)

I do admit to having a soft spot for them as my first car was a Fiat Punto Mk1 75sx in Italian racing red

Had a mazda 6 for few years with no problems atall 2.0 and could shift well nice inside too. Best car of class for the value a think... a better mondeo ;)

Where did that silly thread go with the lad trying to recruit people to his facebook group? It's magically disappeared!!! :moa:

Some dude touting for business on his facebook group. You know how much i love facebook :)

Still considering buying a TT. The good lady wife is slowly succumbing to my pressure that we need a second car. I'd buy an s3, but of all the people I know with one two out of three are in bits, they're obviously not reliable.

ahhh

Westy - Working
Karl - Bits
Stacey - Bits
Dave - Bits
Jason - Working
Coastey - A3 working
Jay - A3 working
Reesy - A3 working
Doctor - Working
Rhubarb - Working
Damo - Working

Anyone else?

But yet, get a TT lol

Saw the thread when it first started (he'd started a Facebook group for S/RS owners and was trying to get people to join it - said he had mods permission to post and was happy for businesses to join the group too) but no idea why the thread has been deleted?

Hadn't even noticed it'd gone til you mentioned it!

The a3's don't count, they're the poor mans s3 ;) (just kidding jardo before you internet rage kill me)

I might get an s3, but I just feel that there's more chance it will have been molested by someone like karl or damo, whereas the tt is obviously a hairdressers car. So i'm hoping for two things. 1) she looked after it and 2) I can smell the seats

You're right, the A3s are but the TQS are a poor mans S3 but wanting the traction.

Damo's motor is fine. he never drives it. That might be why it still works. lol
