just picked up my S3

Just picked up my S3 and when i got home i left her running on the drive and the engine sounds weird on idle. Is this normal?

Direct injection engines can sound a bit clattery at idle,and I'm guessing that's what you're hearing.

yeah thats it mate it sounds clattery you got it! it drives perfect tho, really love the car best one i have ever owned. Even got 34mpg from leicester to peterbrough.

yeah i was mainly in 6th gear chilling i had a couple of blasts haha! just wanted to see what it would do if i drive carefully...i will be defo going out for some fun later tho

I think we all have the same issue with the TFSI engines, at Idle they sound like a bag of rusty nails but get up over 4K revs on boost and it sounds incredible

cheers mate i was not to sure on the seats at first but i got a good deal on and the car the seats are defo growing on me now tho since i picked the car up.
