Time to start a proper progress thread so here are the first pics of the S3...
That's all I've got so far. Loving the car though. It is very quick and an absolute pleasure to drive fast or slow.
Cleaned the motor today as we had some good weather for it... More pics to enjoy...
Enjoy...
My fave pic of the lot... Sky was perfect for a reflection shot...
Came out this morning to great beads so had to take a photo...
Ok guys, time to start some real mods now... I have been talking to Graeme at GNJ about mods and his new unit... I will be doing a review on GNJ soon so keep a look out...
The car went in for eibach springs, no pics yet but I can comment on the handling. The S3 as standard is very understeery, an decent amount of acceleration in a corner and the car pushes out wide... With these springs, that has all gone. The handling and grip is superb.
Also to add to the handling setup, I had some RaceMax spacers put on. 12mm at the rear and 10mm at the front... The stance is much better and the wheel are not hidden tucked below the arches.
So the biggest mod of the day was the full non resonated milltek system with sports cats... Here's a vid of it free revving, does not do it justice at all... The exhaust sounds awesome under load.
Hopefully the vid works.

After a days use, absolutely filthy already...
All clean now though...
Some awesome pics taken by Karl Peel of the motor at Graeme's new unit... GNJ Motorsport.
One of my favourite pics this...
Joe doing his thing...
I will be going back to GNJ for a lot more work in the future, not only mods but also servicing and repairs.
Slight update, well, I say slight, it cost me £600... Lol
Had the LOBA fuel pump fitted in preparation for my stage 3 shark performance remap at GNJ Motorsport. No pictures of the fuel pump. There is no mega performance differences until its remapped. It will allow the ecu to flow more fuel when the remap calls for it.
Slightly smoother on full throttle, maybe a slight performance gain.
Update time again, I've just got back from GNJ Motorsport again... this time I left with my AS cold air intake fitted.
The quality of this thing is unreal... Really, really good. Joe (GNJ Mechanic) was very impressed with it.
I had to go for the optional heat shield/air scoop, it's not massively functional but adds a little extra performance. I bought it for the looks really.
The AS CAI comes with a pipercross cone...
Here's a shot of the pipe work, comes with silicone hoses made by JS Performance hoses and the hard sections are powder coated black.
A GNJ freebie sticker to finish the air scoop off and fitting was done.
The CAI has definitely made a difference, they reckon around 12-15bhp. I can defo feel it.
Along with the milltek and fuel pump the car should be pushing around 300bhp now.
I am just a remap away from stage 3 (2+ depending on the tuner) should be around 350/360bhp once remapped.
Some more updated pics for you to enjoy... Reflectionsssss
My sisters wedding was on Saturday and she asked me to take the brides maids to the venue so I spent a good 7 hours over 2 days. A bit of ribbon and the end result...
Hope you enjoyed the read and watch this space for the remap. [/QUOTE]
