Picked up my S3 sportback may 15th, she's a beautiful motor, nice spec.

But.......

I thought sod it and inquired into what I have always wished for.

Got the confirmation today, Daytona grey RS3 with buckets pick up at the weekend :racer:

Saying that with my experience so far never say never but agreement all signed so fingers crossed no hiccups this time.

Seemed to make more sense in the end to go for this instead of spending nearly as much on upgrading power on the S3, plus the sound of the v5 and the buckets I just couldn't resist!

Pics to come!

OML, how impatient you are :)

If you want me to hook up OPS or any tech missing mate, give me a shout :)

Nice colour.

Thanks, I think I have problems!

Will definitely be in touch, I love the optical parking on the s3 so will be after the same for the Rs!

I will bell you when my wallet has recovered!

The spec i know of so far is;

Buckets,
Daytona grey black edition,
Adaptive bi xenons,
Folding mirrors,
Non smoking pack,
Light pack,
Ami (hopefully working this time! :) )

Not sure on auto lights so this may be something else we can organize for the future!

I will miss the pan roof but sure I will soon get over that!

Im not jealous one little bit.

Thanks, The joys of being self employed and not being able to get a mortgage for a few more years due to my first 3 years of investments e.t.c

Add an idiot to the equation and this is what happens lol

Do it they are phenomenal, test drove one in feb and I was in awe.

Cash or finance the car will be mine in the end anyway :)

Finance is safer in some respects and has worked in my favor in the past!

You're doing it right lol. I had a bit of a lucky escape with an accident at work before I went self employed and it has made my attitude to money and my time here a bit on the edge.

I will probably come to regret this ethos one day!

Nice !! If the brakes don't squeal take my advice leave 'em alone and don't let audi update them.

Yes mates she's a Vw caddy 2k, c20 tdi 1.9 104ps nothing special as it's my work van but with the dtuk box it's great fun.

I was a vauxhall nut until last year had a astra sportive se150 work van and Astra Vxr for playing. Mate I met working down south laughed at me saying you are in idiot. Cut a long story short I bought a golf mk2 gti 1.8 16v kr oak green off him and have been a Vag nut ever since.

Sadly had to sell the gti due to impracticalities with my little lad and space to keep. Then shifted onto a Audi.

The old caddy pick ups are something special :)

Gotta love rat look see a couple on caddy2k.com doing it, I'm not brave enough lol!

You'd get on with my old work mate, he had his mk2 gti abf in the Volkswagen mag last year! Also had a Pimped up mk1 caddy for work, Absolutely loves them goes to all the shows!

Thanks mate :)

Advice taken! I knew it was going to be a big risk but hoping the car outweighs the nuisance squeal, I'll probably whack the tunes up and play ignorant!

Seems to be some have it and some are lucky, shame that the fix is not solving the issue!

Love you're Rs3 mate have to say I was drooling seeing the pics!

Gotta love the plate too what are the chances of that lol!

You won't be disappointed !! Brake issue aside it's a tremendous bit of kit, I'm in Cornwall on holiday and on some of these roads when you accelerate !! WOW what a noise I've had some hot hatches but this beats 'em all.

you only live once is what I say !!
