Hi all,

Been a lurker on here for a while, ive been using your site to find/fix various issues ive had.

From an Audi drivers point of view i havent had the best start in the auto motive world, being 19 now, insure is still the deciding factor! Heres a breif run down of what ive owned for you all to laugh at! Enjoy!

At 17 i hadnt even passed and bought my first car, Corsa B, log book stated 1.2 8v, i later foubd out it had a 1.4 8v mpi, so double the power it should of been, so stripped it and sold it.

Second car was completely standard and given to me by a family friend, needless to say, it didnt stay standard an soon looked like this:

The less about this one the better, a 1.6 8v vtr with a 1.1 gearbox, but french, and ****e!

Now, im the proud owner of this:

I hope to kick around for a while and learn, listen and fix broken stuff! :)

Ta,

Dan

Welcome Dan
Get the paint off the rings, get some RS4's and drop it a bit ;)

:O no way! :) There shall be facelift 'fly eyed' lights a cupra style splitter, some inovit satin blacks and some lows.

Kinda of 'Bright-Blue-Wannabe-Murdered-Out-Look' :)

Plenty to be done before all of that!

Ahh your on it already Dan,plenty of scope with a fresh canvas like that

Thats the plan. It was actually my misses that pointed the car out on Auto trader, because of the colour!

Turned out to be an okay purchase, bar the serpentine belt snapping 6 days after driving! Repalced the water pump while i was there and a few other belt, its soon to have ABS fixed, ebay short shifter and new OEM bushes and cambelt kit :)

Ouch, was it bad luck or was it overdue for a change ? I would love an Avant to mod

I think so, but it was sat for a few months. So the bearing was knackered, i bought it in the snow ... lol. Still started fine.

At the mo, the list of things to 'fix' are:
ABS Sensor (RR)
Timing Belt kit
Gear Linkage
Cone filter (Turbo Noise y0!)
Rear bumper respray

And now my flexy has split, completely. So it sounds like a tractor. But pops and bangs like crazy.

Thursday im having a silly exhaust made up to keep me happy for now. Ill have it modified later on :)

Hi Dan, welcome to audi-sport.net. Looks like a nice car, love the colour. Sounds like you know what your going to do, look forward to seeing the finished result. Enjoy the forum. :) x

Thanks for the welcome, im fairly active on a couple of forums. But obviously they cant answer many questions regarding audis! Hopefully will be finished by spring next year as i want another long term project. Something a little less sensible!

Ta,

Hi Dan nice to meet you. I'm also a new member of the forum.

Hi welcome to the forum your Car collection reminds me of mine slightly when I was younger:

Fiat 75SX
Corsa 1.2 16v (Blew head gasket)
Corsa 1.0 8v
Corsa 1.2 16v
Volva S70
Saxo VTR
1.8 Focus
A3 1.8T

stick around and create a W.I.P when you start working on your Car :)

Wow thats bot far off, just a few extra!

Strangely enough I almost bought a V70 2.5T 4WD! And the misses wants a Focus ST!

The corsas were a great first car as they are super cheap and easy to work on! No ABS, No traction control and no power steering. Perfect to learn to drive in as they are proper raw driving!
