Independents in or around Bolton

Hi, does anybody know any good independents in Bolton or nearby? I've found one that is 2 mins from mine, has anybody used them before? They are called Northwest Bloor Motor Works and are based in Horwich, they've quoted me £300 including VAT for a DSG service, renew HPFP cam follower and fit a new thermostat. Is that a decent price? Thanks

I rang Awesome yesterday and they wanted more money than NWBMW and its half an hour drive, NWBMW is literally 2 mins from my house so easier to get to

I wouldn't touch awesome, but that of course is just what has happened to friends cars going there!

I highly recommend mr jvw in lowton / Leigh . Excellent lads you know how good they are when you pull up to a car park full of VAGs

You'd think you've turned up to a meet when you arrive there's that many VW/audis thre. They've give me the cheapest quotes for everything I've needed. And there standard of work is 2nd to none

Im sorry to say but the BMW stands for Bloor Street Motors

I have a diesel Audi and had some issues with smoking and bad running, everyone I spoke too wanted to replace the injectors, until I spoke to VAGBolton, they have a new system to competely clean the injectors in situ and can be done in under 2 hours, the car now runs smooth and starts first time, with a massive saving over new injectors.

I only still have my awesome remap because i cant afford to get it mapped again and it was too far to go back and have them correct it It was cheap though so dont mind there work appearing in my sig, but id never go back for anything else, even if they was next door to me.

Haha yeah that's the one, I've heard bad things about them actually. I've been using VAGBolton, seem to know their stuff and I've been more than happy with the work they have carried out so far
