What did you and your 8p do today? :)

Just did a 500 mile round trip from Kent to Chester. Car didn't miss a beat and the CC was a real pleasure to have! Averaged about 80mph and 46mpg so can't be to unhappy with that!

I bloomin' love my motor!

facelifted to 2012 frontend, was not easy and not finished, will put some pictures up when complete

Well i drove a little fast today, a BMW 5 series 62 plate had its pants pulled right down this morning

Then it was a day of eating pretty much!

Greasy spoon this morning

Skipped lunch

Pizza

Pic N Mix

All part of a healthy life style....:beerchug:

Looked at the annoying rattle(s) i have. Traced to the rear quarter speaker grills. Couldnt be bothered to strip the panels off (grills dont look removable) so its on the list for another day.

Measured up for new wheels, made little templates to see just how far they will poke...

Not exactly today but I washed, polished and waxed my A3. And then it rained.
Raindrops

told her shes getting sold and replaced with a junker a3 so the real mods can get started

Hi Notta3

I got the idea from a thread by mike-y90 (Dension docking in ash tray) Take a look.
He's got great link in there it's called Audi area: Audi A3. ITray for IPod mod.

Materials i used
Black Leather
5mm Foam
2.5mm millboard
Heavy duty spray adhesive

If still want to have ago at the way i have done it give me a shout. Try give you guide.

S3 is having a rest in recent days.

I've been using my commuter to keep the miles off the Audi, so I'm a little upset at the moment.

Not sure i can take much more of the soot chucker everyday. I need some speed.

Amazing the difference in state in which I show up to work in the Audi, I'm in a massive rage because everyone was driving far too slowly....

but in the MG ZT CDTi I'm calm....as I know it's not going to win any races, overtaking is basically a no no, it'll just save me a bob or 2, and actually I'll arrive in the same amount of time, traffic isn't going anywhere :-(

i work for Landrover, the ZT diesel has the same engine as the Freelander 1. cheap parts :)

Plus A3 diesels have turbos like butter!! I've had the 170 before. brilliant car, just hold their value too much for a second car.

Got the Audi Music Interface fitted :) only took me 3 weeks!! :(

Will do a write up if anyone wants it ;)

Today me and mine went to see the William Wallace Monument in Sterling. So tomorrow she's getting a ruddy good clean to remove every species of insect in the country :)

Not hard at all, just a 8mm socket to remove the glovebox, VCDS and stereo removal keys.

Remember you will need RNSE MK2 with the Media button, it will not work on MK1.

Prices -

Replacement glovebox £59
AMI Module £140
Wiring harness £39

Deciding what to do next :)

Mine had a ride to audi to potentially be replaced by a salooon :w00t:

Nothing too exciting. Had a weekend shift at the lab, so drove to work in it.

Must say though, the only good thing about having to work on a Sunday is that the roads are fairly empty, allowing me to hoof it somewhat =]

Fitted my black edition grill that I got from A3kent. Makes all the difference close up from my plastidipped original.

We've spent the last 2 weeks apart, with my 2.0 TDI in the body shop after someone drove straight into the side of it. Hopefully reunited tomorrow! Uploadfromtaptalk1371591273308

Bought some 18" alloys from the scrap yard for £90 that I'm going to refurb and get tyres for, then once my cars lowered I will stick them on! :)Image

About to clean my new inlet manifold at work and realised i forgot the degreaser at home :-/ so its got oil all over it still from the mechanics hands

tryed to race an old vauxhall astra in early hours of morning, not a VXR but the earlier model. mines is stock TFSI, and he hammered me.

Gutting.

IIRC the old Astra 16v GTE had a 150bhp 2.0L engine in it and was quick in those days.......suffered alot from torque steer though. My dad had one. I loved the digi dash and how it all disappeared when the sun shone thro the back window

The GSi was properly quick when it was released - as are most Vauxhalls as that's the only claim to fame they have! all the old ones handle like sacks of s**t though.

Time for a remap maybe? :racer:
