I think i will actually go insane before my car arrives......but its great seeing all these beauties in S-Line config..............i hope the SE doesn't look too basic, just as well i upgraded the pain, wheels and interior lights :)

you wont go insane, we will keep you amused till collection time, i may turn up for your collection, lmao. It be worth the 4 hour drive just to see the grin on your face. :) x

I havent ordered yet, im still at the spec stage on the config. Im after the S3. Im not in the borders, im down in the west coast. :) x

Lovely part of the world! S3...wow! There was one in the showroom in Aberdeen the other week but i avoided the temptation to look at it. It was Glacier White with every extra you could think of.....looking forward to when you are on your countdown!!

Im with you on that. I have also ordered an SE, most people on here have gone for a sport or s-line.
since subscribing to this forum, I have upgraded my order, not once but twice! Have been thinking of all the options but I'm happy with what I have ordered. Roll on September...........

I've been wondering about s-line too, and whether I should have gone for it, but £1200 just isn't worth it for a bit of styling to me

There's nothing wrong with the SE spec. What Car choose it for car of the year and it's good value for money.

I'm sure i (we) will be more than happy with the SE....even though its called the base model, i think its still a higher lever than the competition. On one of the many Youtube video reviews, i think it was the Irish Chap, he mentioned that all A3's now have over a grands worth of extras as standard...not quite sure what though :)
