I like most of the MK2 colours but Oak and Bright blue metallic are my favourites so when an oaky came up local in this condition and spec then resistance was futile.

It handles excellent, really does, even on JOM coils which I understand are at the cheaper end.
I dare say a stock lump, ABF or 18T for that matter, will return better lap times but for pure fun, the delivery and noise from the VR is epic.

Know what you mean about the head turning effect of an old Golf.

Good spot, Lenso BSX.

Easier to source and MUCH cheaper than BBS. Good finish too bearing in mind they less than half the price.
BBS RS would be nice but couldn't bring myself to 60% of the price of a 23yr old the car on wheels!

The last couple of owners have been very kind to it mate, its super clean and has a custom leather/alcantara retrim.
