Still got plates to fit, adjust coilovers, purchase some summer wheels, fit front splitter and fit front honey comb grill.

Looking nice! Love what you've done with the rear lights!
One question: Where did you get your pressed plates from? I've been wanting to get a pair, but I've heard that the quality of the plates can vary quite a bit between companies.

Looking good, like the rear light as well, what did you do to them? I think only A5 replica's fits

I had my last set through dubmeister...

looking good m8 :applaus:, be nice to see what the grill looks like. how does the ride feel now with the coily's on?

The plates were from eBay: Pressed Metal GB number plates 100% ROAD LEGAL | eBay

I masking taped up the Square on the back which is illuminated when side lights are on, then applied a few coats of tint spray to each light, I didn’t want to fully jet them out as i think that would look tacky - but just a slight tint. And yeeee the wheels I need are 18" Replicas with all the correct offset's ect

looking good m8

Yes, hopefully going to get the grill and front splitter on ASAP just need some dryer weather as i need to take all the front bumper off :(, and the ride is extremely harsh TBH feel every bump in the road, my dad refuses to get in my car now :D But stays dead flat to the road, only movement is in the tyre.

what spoiler is that and where yo get it from mate?

The Seller on eBay was NK Tuning, the parts i ordered are moldings;

Splitter was Fiberglass:Audi A3 Front Bumper Spoiler from 2005 NKTuning | eBay

Spoiler was GRP: AUDI A3/S3 ROOF SPOILER from 2003 3 doors NK-Tuning | eBay

TBH i wouldnt nock the guy, the courier arrived on time, and the packaging was excellent - you cannot tell they are replicas once painted, and i had no issues attaching the rear spoiler, have not attached front splitter so cannot comment on that.

Nice car Jonathan, think MY11 rear lights would look cleaner than the current lights though.

Where abouts in Leeds are you?

Ye the spoiler looks good, the only difference I can see is that it doesnt seem to flow smoothly into the roof.

Or is that just the pictures??

Only asking coz I am looking for a spoiler too

Yes, i was debating getting some of them, but there was 2 issues with them, 1 everybody upgrades to them and 2 the price - i would prefer to do something different than follow the trend.

And i live just off the A64 Barwick in elmet/Scholes.

I aint to sure what you mean there m8, as on all models that come with a spoiler standard - they are just fastened on to the boot...

I am wanting to get some more photos anyway so will try get some more of the spoiler for ya.

Awesome, those were the ones I had my eye on as well. Off to get a pair!

I would not bother, just received a set and the quality is **** poor in comparison to the dubmeister ones I had.

Typical ebay crap..

Little update since last "Wheel issues"

Bought some TTRS Reps 18". Will get some more pictures at the weekend,

Since the new wheels I have had my stage 2 re-map with DPF delete. Full Milltek system now - will get some vids and post on YouTube. Still got the front grill in the garage and the splitter to go on, fingers crossed within the next few week. Some pics below of the splitter just taped on,

car looks really good:) would like to see the videos of you car. My friend has just had done the dpf delete and remap and is thinking about the milltek.

Also do you know the fittment of the A5 alloys you had? ( 9J ET42)

Will try get some vids this weekend, and did your friend get the Milltek Down pipe (DPF delete) ?

And as for the A5 alloys im unsure of fitment m8 - i didnt keep them long enough after i knew they didnt fit.

TTRS reps were seen on eBay and bought from a shop in Manchester. Price was reasonably cheap with Tyres. Quality is excellent i was parked next to the same alloys a few week back and i honestly couldnt tell the difference.
Where did you get the ttrs reps from? Are they a decent quality?

Do you still have the original RIMs which are in 4th picture of your 1st post?

Little update, managed to get the splitter and grill on :p See pics below,

Half a set of cutlery later...

Silvertek indicators in!

Plain bumper,

Rings only,

Plate only,

Plate and rings,

Little break before we stick the splitter on!

Love it, decent pictures as well, a rarity on this site. Update confusion, I thought you fitted the splitter 3 weeks ago? (#20) Did you take it off?

irrelevant to thread, but everytime i see you signature it reminds me of

" He just got up and left"

Yeah quality of item is good, fitment is well on drivers side - it tends to pull away on the passenger side so I am going to have to re silicone it and clamp it to allow it to set.

Cheers pal, it seems the cheapest option regarding to get an s line look lol but then it's different than others yet retaining OEM. I think I'll get one. How much did painting cost you?

Yeah im happy with it tbh mate, I was surprised how different/newer my car looked for just changing the grill and adding the splitter.

Painting cost me £150, but I got my spoiler and front grill painted aswell.

You've made me buy one now! Is your spoiler a votex one? I sourced a full votex kit for around 200 but shipping was near 4-500 as it was from America

Lol at the the knives! The grill is a massive improvement on the old one. I used tiger seal on my vortex splitter, its a lot stronger than normal silicone sealant. Looks really good.

Got a link to them wheels mate? And where did you get the grill from?

Car's coming along nicely

I love this car, would have to say I am not normally that keen on black having gone throgh a major phase of ownng nothing but black when I was younger but just love the subtle mods, scary though how closely our thought patterns/deas are moving, would think youv'e been peeking at my Facebook or something if it wasn't for the fact I am not on Facebook, weird!
Keep up the good work.
