Never done a dyno before, roughly how long does it take per car?

Do you want me to enquire as to what they can offer to a group?

Me neither (on my RS3) but I'm 100% in Neil...

I KID YOU NOT, and I ain't no newbie when it comes to shakedown of motorcars; but I've had a fair number of RS3's in my garage over the past 18-months (with and without by-pass pipes) for this and that, and there's a couple of cars that have been noticeably livelier than others under the right-foot; and it ain't mileage dependant either...

So I for one would like to see some back-to-back Dynomometer figures…

So GO Neil; I/we'll be there…

I agree John there can be big variations between cars it will be interesting!

I have been searching high and low for my old dyno charts from Powerstation but I can't find them. I remember they said 315bhp would be possible from the remap and Milltek but on the rollers the car showed 330bhp and repeated that figure on several different days.

Very keen for this might be getting my car mapped in the next 2 weeks

Hope your mapping attempt goes better than mine! I was all set to get a remap but all the places I tried either wanted to send the ECU away for unlocking or proved to be unreliable and not return calls. In the end I gave up!

my TTRS was made in 2010 and apparently the ecu is different which means it can be done via the port but after you have to send them off but the place I'm getting mine done he has done RS3's apparently he does maps for revo but his software is called oscarli

All ME9.2 ecu RS3's are locked , as are all the later TTRS's, these don't have to be sent to Revo HQ though, they can be unlocked by any Revo dealer with the correct BDM capable equipment. , The ecu will have to be opened though, Just so you know all the 2010 onwards Vags are locked apart from the ME9's on the Golf R's, S3's, Cupra's and Edition 35's.

Date wise, what about the now defunct summer meet date of 27th July we all agreed to way back when?

I'll start a new thread for this if we can agree a date, subject to whether the RR can accomodate us.

I agree by the way, this will be an interesting experiment to see how the cars differ.

We can then plot a decent run from there around those famous welsh road mark is telling us about.

27th July is good for me, happy to work in some roads too if we can, guess it will depend on timings.

As said good rollers, very accurate. You need to go just for the half an Impreza on the canteen wall!

2008 and my new K1 with 320hp! Wooo...

The other part to remember is that all Bosch Motronic units are learning ECU's so if you drive in a certain style it will adjust timing and fuelling accoridngly so some will seem 'slower' than others but give better mpg. Always useful to ask a dealer to reset the learned values when in for a service, then you have peak performce and watch your fuel economy go South!
