Well, I didn't expect to win it but for the money it's gotta be worth keeping for our rather short summer and stored for winter in a friends warehouse?. It needs a few things doing such as a service and fix the coolant leak, maybe a new antenna and get the leather seats repaired but I could run it without doing anything if I wanted but have a soft spot for these and always wanted one. I would like a single din cd radio (concert) for it if anyone has got one please pm me. If you know the car I'd love to hear from you

These still look quite upto date to me for some reason, a better looking machine than some new open top cars you can buy today in my opinion. Everyone needs to own an open top car at some point in their life, I'd happily roll in that Carl!

Very nice indeed keep it as an investment, im sure prices on these will be going up in a few years especially if you sort out the niggles.

The car is from Thetford....not to far from Gen.heinz guderian?, sure you not seen it about?, I think I should replace the indicator lenses as they look a bit...you know, but will keep the originals for concourse events.......lol

You sure that's not Princess Diana's old car? It was on here/eBay a couple of weeks ago....looks very similar L reg too. Looks like a nice one, glad you bringed it.

Very nice - Iv been looking at Audi 80's for a few weeks - probably wont buy one though.
Would look great lowered with a nice set of wheels

Im sat in the pub looking at a few cabs in the car park and wish I had mine now lol. looks like im collecting on Thursday. But will be towing back due to known water leak and dont want to risk overheating and causing needless damage :)

Tracey mum has an 80 coupe, don't see many on the road until we drive around in it, then you see quite a few, and they all wave. The 80 is still a fantastic looking car and an ageless design.

Fantastic looking car Carl. I love the colour. Enjoy. :) x

Its in the safe hands of Danny at DNA for some essential work to keep it where it belongs! , on the road with the roof down :). Hope to have it back Tuesday or Wednesday
