Still bubbling on day 2, I resisted going to the dealer on the run up and he is only 1m away from me!
Had to change my route, so I did not go past!
Antisipation is a marvellous thing, especially when you are not disappointed! Is there no better feeling?

Saying that day 2, noticed polish they had not fully removed, and what is it with valeters/car prep people? Can they not clean windows! Or is that just me? ;-)) Bit of sunshine and out with the Glass cleaner.......

lucky my mrs has the same pet hate, so got a good excuse to spend even more time in my comfort station ;-))

Fairs do's, if I was prepping cars, I would be lucky to get 1 done a week!

Glad your enjoying you car mate, my visit this evening was more about checking he car had not suffered any damage in transit rather than the need to see the car.

As for the prepping standards I have thought about getting a detailer in to prep the car or take the car unwashed and prepping it myself as the workmanship from the dealer car washing chaps can often leave a great deal to be desired.But I have decided to leave it to them, so fingers crossed.

I may tell them not to bother polishing it and I will do a full protection detail, foam, tardis and then clay and I've got the Blackfires wet ice on fire kit and it produces amazing results and is ideal for Daytona grey.

Sweet Mark, I also knew it would not be preped as I would like it, WERKSTAT ACRYLIC KIT arrives Monday, so that's next weekend sorted! I enjoy the detailing, so not overly bothered with the finish, to be fair it's as smooth as a baby's bum ;-))

i wish I had posted my thoughts earlier, as that song was my prediction for your next post, spooky.

Anyway phoned dealer he didn't know it was there, rang me back to confirm. Car will be ready on Monday, popping down to dealer now just to check car over.

Sorted out some paperwork and checked the car over, all is well. Car is lovely, although still got its protective stickers on, silk Nappa looks stunning and the new car smell is awesome. Very happy, car will have PDI this afternoon and will collect 2pm Monday. 3 sleeps.

I'm sure you have your reasons, but if my PDI was this afternoon I'd be collecting it a 9 tomorrow morning!

I would be down there tonight but the PDI will run into tomorrow anyway and they can't get the car registered and taxed in time, apparently.

I am happy to wait now, I always worry about the car getting damaged in transit as an awful lot do, but its ok so I can relax now.

chilled now mate honest, few plans for next week to get acquainted with car off all week. :jump:

I won't ring up appointments 2pm, so I'll just get there for 9.30 so I'm not late. Lol

quality tune Sandra, love that one. Every time I think of the car now I just break out into a big grin, 23hrs 58 mins.
