Tinted Rear Lights

Hi all,

Someone may have mentioned this but I have noticed S-lines with and without tinted rear lights and not all with the tinted lights have privacy glass...is it pot luck if you get tinted rear lights?

Maybe it depends on the country's policies?

Was it always a pic from a UK reg car or do you mean in real life? Because I know that, for example, in Belgium they do not allow for tinted rear lights or even overly tinted front lights because it could prevent other road users from seeing the lights properly.

Dunno why you'd want them personally, would make your car look like a cheap boy racer's saxo or something

I've not seen any with tinted lights, must be an after market add on as I can't see Audi offering this.

To be honest, I am torn on them...they looked good on SJW'S car and I think they would give my Daytona a meaner look but I guess you are right, borderline chav material

Definately not after market as I have seen too many with tinted rears, they are not black but noticeably darker than standard rear lights.
