ASN's Pub

Me: "I'm not drinking this weekend. Thought I'd have a bit of a break"
Trainee: "Why do you need a break?"
Me: "Well, been out a few weekends on the trot and I've only got the one liver, so ought to look after it!"
Trainee: "You've only got one liver? How comes?"
Me:  "Errr, we've all only got one liver..."
Trainee: "Oh yeah... Haha. It's kidney's we've got 2 of isn't it? ....... I've got an AS Level in Biology as well!"

I always thought it meant Amazingly Sensual?

It fits too..."I've got an Amazingly Sensual level in Biology as well!"

Coatsey; fancy pulling up a bar stool and talking to me about your hybrid?

I'll buy you a beer.

:beerchug:

Can tomorrow hurry dafuq up please :)

I want to go to the top gear test track NOW! lol

I think more info about this is required.

I posted it in the main events section but here is the link....

TheSupercarEvent.com - Home

Set up by PHN who I have been a member with for ages, everyone's welcome and for a very good cause :)

Advanced tickets have sold out but you can still purchase them on entrance.

(I am not directly linked to the charity, and I do not profit in anyway of form)

They ******* you for driving too fast and they moan about noise a lot. Last time my old club went anyway lol. Its more of a quick drive to say you`ve been on the track.

He can't make his mind up as to what turbo to go for. All he knows is that the normal K03s is for ladies and he wants more power ;)

What he said.

I just wondered how you are finding it? What sort of power are you running, and is there any more headroom for more power?

Cheers Sandra!

Went to the cinema tonight to see Fast & Furious 6...I feel like 10 years of my life has been ruined. It was terrible :(

It was a disappointing film. The other 5 films were good, my personal favourite was tokyo drift. Its time to end them now. :) x

I'd watch anything with you JoJo :sex:

Hopefully the Transporter connection will be ok, I do like Jason Statham but a lot of his acting and characters are very transparent and all a bit the same.

Or what will happen is they'll ruin to of my favourite films ever in one hit.

What really annoyed me about the new F&F was that in the first film it was believable. I was like "Oooooh ****, they've blown up his car? They're gonna build something badass now!" and it was all quite easy to relate to as somebody banging through the streets of Basingstoke slaying everything I could find of an evening. It was a film about what I thought street racing was all about.

But this new one, within the first like twenty minutes they'd written off three of their cars, taken out shop windows, destroyed loads of police cars with unbelievably "super villain" car which looked like it belonged in Batman.

And the ending bit...Where he catches a certain person like a foot ball and uses his crashing car to propel him through the windscreen, across a 30 foot expanse with a 200 foot drop and then safely lands on the windscreen of a crashed car...Come on.

It's just too Hollywood. :(

... that they coincidentally stop on *just* before the end.

Agree - rubbish.

Favourites are 1-3.
1: Brilliant because it was the first & a great concept
2: Hilarious because of Tyrese
3: Love it just for his accent!

The best bits of Tokyo Drift is the driving in it, the lead guy walking into the Yakuza with a bag of loose change wouldn't happen in real life!

I got forced to watch Les Mis on Friday night. An hour into it my gf had fallen asleep and I was thinking of the quickest way to end my life!

Still got an hour and a half left to watch FML!

Supercharged S1 Elise, with remote Sachs coilovers and a Janspeed exhaust.

My car is so slow :(

I miss my S1 Elise and that only had 160bhp. My dream is to own another with my S3 engine in it. I always keep my eye out for non running Elises but they hold their value so much. Would be a cool project.

The turbo'd and supercharged ones are capable of destroying some serious super cars. There's a video on YouTube of an S1 Exige known as "The Batmobile" as it's completely carbon fibre and has an Audi 1.8T engine in it and has a better power to weight ration then a Veyron! Seriously impressive.

my mate bought a damaged elise a few years ago, in red!
it was epic, no carpets in it or anything and wind down windows!
it needed a new screen, (very expensive) and a new bumper that he plastic welded!, sold it on and made a packet!
still can't get over the nova key it had though lol!

It's just a whole different level of performance isn't it.

Didn't know you had a Lotus Westy, get in!

The guy who just bought this used to work for Lotus as a salesman, so he knew what he wanted and what he was looking for.

Hilariously his company car which he has driven for years is a diesel Nissan Note haha, when he turned up for work today unannounced I was rather shocked.
