Sussex/kent south coast meet ? JUNE/JULY

As we were talking in the 8l section. Any s3/rs3/a3 or any audi owners want to have a meet on the southcoast. Brighton isint the decided place just name the options and wel sort it. Any dates good for people june or july??
 
im up for it brighton seafront is aways good sooner the better
 
might as well as its local although i have a A4 but my mate has a S3
 
I'm not overly fussed where the meet is....closer towards the East the better though as I'll be travelling from CT18 area!
 
I'm easy where it is, I'm pretty close either way, 35 miles from Brighton maybe the same to bluewater
 
im game for one in brighton, marine drive one day?
 
Maybe some date's and times should be thrown about to arrange something. I'm pretty much easy for most Eve's during the week, not sure the ball and chain would come lol
 
if people want to fire off dates im game, june would be better for me just not the first week :)
 
June would be good to me but only the last weekend really....

So say the weekend of the 28th June.

Won't be enjoying the whole 20mph speed limit enforcement in and around Brighton though that saw on the news yesterday :(

a4 and a3 here happy to come along, zint there brighton meets already, dont wanna be hooked up with that unless you feel the need?
 
It wasn't Brighton specific, just trying to get the ball rolling really, I personal don't mind driving a little bit, just not into London area for me
 
i haven't been there for about 10 years but isn't there a decent pub at devil's dyke where we can have a meet?
 
Hmmmm if I do the 28th I couldn't see me getting down to Brighton until around 8pm - what with Friday traffic.

Saturday 29th would probably suit me better, what with it being the weekend and not having work etc.
 
Cool...sounds like this is getting penciled in as a date then....

I'll be travelling from Folkestone area- so it is a bit of a trek for me....so may as well make a day out of it for the 3 hour round trip! lol

Yeah looks like Brighton is being talked about and possible 29th June....

I'm not 100% sure on where would be the best/ideal location to hold it in Brighton on a Saturday tbh. I expect it will be extremely busy along the marina straight and surrounding places.

So if any of the locals have any suggestions- feel free to mention a good place. I remember whilst leaving Brighton there was a superstore with McDs and lots of parking area and even had a few tunnels to get in/out of the place :)
 
The marina I think you might be on about kwistof, free parking also in there multi story :) but can get busy also :(

i belive thats were all the boy racers meet up. ill ask my bro hes been down there a few times, im sure they know a place further down with parking along the beach bit like south end
 
Yeah that sounds it....probably should have guessed it would be a hot spot for the boy racers with a superstore and 24hr mcds on site! Lol

If you could find out if there are any other places that would be great boost-addict. I'll have a little hunt on google earth tomorrow as well
 
Right so just a quick update...

I'm thinking of the marina in Brighton on Saturday 29th for a meet starting at about 6pm till dusk.

Not sure on the parking situation as I know it's quiet a large place, so possibly the superstore could do.

Could all go for a little drive round Brighton afterwards in a VAG convoy if you guys fancy?

I'll create a separate thread for a list of cars/people shorly- but please let me know if you can see any issues with the above :)

can do sunday 30th but not saturday and this way no billy boy racer

Yeah totally agree that it's near impossible to pleas everyone with the date.

I'll leave it pencilled on here as the Saturday 29th....if people could let me know in this thread if that dates okay then we shall proceed :)

Shame you can't make it Harvey but keep your eyes peeled in this section as I have something up my sleeve before the 29th as a sort of joint meet with another event I know that goes on :) (it is a weekday but excellent display of cars and very friendly people)
 
I won't b able to make this, bit far for me for a meet, hopefully will b one nearer mid Kent soon! :(

Hi Billy,
I'll actually be travelling for Folkestone way fella. Don't mind meeting up at somewhere like Maidstone services to drive down in convoy- makes the journey feel a lot quicker IMO.
 
Could do bud, will keep u informed, it's a day b4 payday lol so funds might not b amazing, got emergency taxed this month so skint as it is. Hopefully can do, can meet at Maidstone services
