Iâve been on this site for a week or so, but thought Iâd better say hello.
I ordered my new car (details below) on April 14[SUP]th[/SUP](week 15?) and thought Iâd be in for the usual long wait. However, I called local Audi Dealer yesterday afternoon hoping to add the Hill Hold Assist option to my order, as I thought there would be no problem since Iâd only ordered my car three weeks ago.
He checked my order and told me my build week should be about week 25, but adding to my order shouldnât be a problem. This was a lot sooner than I expected after reading the posts on here â I wasnât expecting it for months. The dealer said he would call me back once he had done whatever he needed to do to amend the order.
When he called me back he told me the build week was now looking like week 22, but the addition to the order may put it back a week or two. Thatâs âorderâ to âbuildâ in seven to nine weeks!
There seems to be a lot of inconsistency with who gets what and when. My car does seem pretty simple compared to some of the beautiful examples we see on here, maybe thatâs why mine is so relatively quick?
