I read on here about oil pickup needing changing on these engines (for safety). I can't remember where I read it - or if it was even this site.

Anyway. Is this the thing I would need from VW? Please let me know -I like to do things before problems arise. The engine is 2.0TFSI 200hp BWA. Cheers

Probably me, I yell it at any 2.0TFSI people. "FOR GODS SAKE MAN, THINK OF THE VALVES!". That part looks correct.

Yeah probably was you. Thanks man - I'll book in with VW to change.

I'll get aircon radiator swapped as well... Probably full of flies and crap. Cheers man

A VW specialist/indy would probably be cheaper. It's a simple job.

Well I know this Ex-Audi tech who did my cam follower before.. but if the missus is out he'll try to have sex with me

My life is like totally weird. Dealers is easier

Well whatever "did my cam follower" means, i'd probably see somebody else before you have big-end problems.

Nah he's good. Removing HPFP is simple enough now I've seen him do it.

Easy peasy - I just text him about these parts.

Cheers :D

A few 2.0tfsi had problems with the oil pumps but i think that is down to the design of the crap oil filters that are available, even the genuine ones seem to go hard a break up in no time, thats why your just best doing 3 or so oil changes a year no matter what mileage your doing
