Newbie with few questions/ problems

Hi there I recently bought a 51 a3 1.8t AUM
and need some help and advice , my first problem is I have a fluctuating idle, I have changed all the pipes under the inlet for silicone ones which made no difference, I then cleaned the throttle body which solved the problem for all of 2 days and then came back but I can't seem to find any other leaks anywhere?

And my next question is that I have a large 80mm jetex cone fitted which made the DV noise really loud but today I fitted a TIP and although the intake noise is louder and the car feels better the DV noise has near enough disappeared, so was curious whether this is normal or has something gone a mis? And its an oem dv

Was a throttlebody adaptation done after it was cleaned? Has car been scanned with vcds?

No I didn't do an adaption but I did disconnect the battery is that makes a difference, and no scan as of yet
