Gonna look at an a3 next week - 2.0T FSI Quattro S Line Special Edition

anything i should look out for?

it has FSH
recent cambelt change
recent haldex oil change
stage 1 remap

what is different from the standard s line and the special edition?

thanks in advance

Mines also the special edition, pretty sure the difference is built in sun visor in parcel shelf, dark headlining and lights above the vanity mirrors. If your buying private and it's had a remap then your could ask the seller about the diverter valve and cam follower to see if these have been changed. Otherwise nothing really other that the usual checks when buying a used car.

I've got all the above mines a 2005 so if you have the sun thing on the parcel shelf, vanity lights and dark lining its def a special edition?

yea if you've got them then it's a special edition, also you can check your v5 to be sure, as mine says special edition on the v5.

The special edition didn't come out to order until Nov2005 and the first deliveries were late Feb 06(55plate). I ordered one on the week they came out and pushed the delivery back a week to get it on an 06 plate.

There were no special options to signify a special edition they could all be ordered before the SE came out. What the SE changed was the price, it knocked about £1800 off the price of the earlier car with all the same options ordered.

Mines a march 2005 so that explains it I guess it's loaded with extras but not an SE

56 plate Audi A3 2.0 TFSI S line Quattro - Special Edition
Its in phantom black, was really after a misano red but the phantom black looks awesome.

Has 99k miles which put me off a little at first, but it seems to be in excellent condition / FASH / 1 owner.
