Well, thanks for all the advice I've had from my previous threads folks. The end result is I am now the proud owner of a 2010 Ibis White Black Edition Sportback with S Tronic! The car came with a pretty good spec including auto dimming mirrors/lights/wipers, folding mirrors, cruise control, bluetooth, ipod connection and all the usual bits (climate, park sensors etc).
I have to say, even after just an hour of driving I absolutely love the S Tronic.
I was a little worried that going from a 2 ltr petrol manual to a 2ltr diesel semi-auto might feel a bit wrong (and I must admit I did go for the clutch when I initially went to pull away lol) but so far it's been a joy to drive and the 170ps engine certainly doesn't feel like a downgrade in performance from my ten year old Focus ST170.
I've now got to work out what all the bits on the DIS do. There seem to be an awful lot of menus
Having seen another car the other day with the RNS-E I'm also sorely tempted to stick one of those in at some point.
