Please delete the long post that means absolutely nothing.

What are you looking for from these logs???

Its requesting stock boost pressure if thats what you want. Its ok in that respect. Meeting what its mapped to make.

^ +1 on what Karl said. What's the actual issue now that your turbo has been sorted?

Looks standard map, so its going to feel like there is no boost and slow.

get that sucker CUSTOM mapped and take advantage of all the bolt on mods you have.

Somewhere around 200bhp, 0.8 bar of boost. Looks fairly stock to me.

I thought it would be around 185bhp using the maf reading and dividing by 0.8
148gs / 0.8 = 185

Ok that's good, the previous owner was bull****ting to cover the overboost then! Any other problems from that log? Think my other codes are related to lack of. Extra heat shield and lambda. Also 185 bhp? Atw I take it?

Mine shows the same boost as yours with the aftermarket bolt on's and stock map.

also remember that the bhp/maf calculator is not a true reading. It's just an estimator

Ok cheers, once I get my welly cooler and injectors I'll be going for a custom map. Be few weeks yet though. Just gotta sort this heatshielding and high manifold boost pressure code, throttle position code now! Least we know its boosting as she should!-)

Cheers dude, you, bill, tuffty and darren are legends! All been a big help, I'll give it a try.

I learnt everything I know from Bill and Tuffy, so they the legends round here dude.

BTW by name is also Darren :)

Nah its a used bosch one off ebay.
So 148g/0.8 bar is 185 yes, how come 148/0.6 is 248? Think there's a flaw in that equation lads, 148/1 bar would be 148bhp????

new maf on there? it might be under reading..

Nah its a used bosch one off ebay.
exactly as Bill said. Its a bad maf. a bit foolish to buy a used one off ebay. Get a brand new one (bosch) or borrow a known working one for a log to see if it IS the maf (likely)

Ah, but the maf reading would be different right?
The 0.8 figure you divide the airflow by ISNT the boost. Its just a constant used to get a rough reading of horsepower.
You take your logged airflow, divide it by the 0.8 constant, and this is your estimated Hp reading. Yours is low.

You going to a new bosch maf for the remap and make sure its the correct part number. No generic, used or other VAG models will work.

Ok great, understand now!-) yes after a cheap ebay maf I went used genuine lol, cheapskate, 1000 pound exhaust and 30 quid. Maf lol!

how?

right just reset the throttle body, test drive another day as had some southern comfort!-) could them codes have affected the maf reading?? also any button way to turn off that darned service inspection warning flash?

how much should i expect to pay for a genuine new maf, got a part number? on ebay bosch s3 mafs new range from 80 to 120 quid!? what do audi charge?

only flaw is your maths conversion..
if all things are working efficiently maf g/s divide by 0.8 is an approximate bhp figure.

i know i know, its because prawn wrote 200bhp and 0.8 bar of boost, so i assumed it was maf divided by boost?-0
