Silver COD

Hi people,...firstly....I have no idea why I can't insert paragraphs..so apologies for the layout!.....my COD equipped SB is due two weeks today and I just wondered if what my dealer said is true....that I will have the FIRST COD SB in the country???!...

...I also wondered if anyone owns a silver S-Line SB.....it was a colour I seriously considered but doesn't appear to be very popular on here?...would like to see a pic(too late now, but interested)....Once the car does arrive I'm not sure what will keep me awake at night!

Hello Moonlight, you could try Bang Babes on Sky channel 900 onwards that might keep you awake at night! ;-)

On a serious note, of all the threads I have looked through, I have not seen an S-Line in Ice Silver. If you are the first to receive a COD sportback, I think you will find many people would like your feedback on it.

I feel as though I'm allowed to talk about it now that I'm a fortnight away....it feels good!..I've noted that channel down..certain other channel numbers have been worn down on my remote!....I witnessed a silver SB at an Audi launch event a few months ago but nothing since (other than the usual library pics)

I think your choice of colour is perfect. I really do wish that I had gone with this but my wife was against having a darker colour. To me it does not look dark. I did say that as we approach summer, the Daytona looks fantastic in direct sunlight but she was not having any of it. You will not be disappointed with your choice. Photos of Viper's car look awesome in daytona grey. I think the Daytona will make the SB stand out from the other cars on the roads. The silver could result in the SB getting lost in the vast collection of cars that are around. My parents have a silver car. The car I have rented for the last 8 weeks is silver. Too many.

I agree, I really don't like silver cars - if you see a bunch together (and you often do given how many of them there are around), they look so drab and dull all of a sudden!

Daytona is indeed a cracking colour, I particularly like how it shows 50 shades of grey(!) in different lights...I had a silver A3 2-3 years ago and found it a great colour to keep clean...though I think you are correct in what you say.....imagining a silver SB in traffic (which were I usually am!) would indeed blend into the background...(please tell me why I cant insert paragraphs!!!..grrr)....My t'other half isn't a fan of grey but likes the Daytona...and I haven't had a grey car for nearly 17 years!....this is where someone posts that they have a silver SB!..oops
