Welcome all!

Still new to the forum and the VAG seen so thought its about time i introduced myself properly!

It was a cold windy February evening and a simple devonshire lad was browsing through ebay in front of the fire when all of a sudden his screen was filled with a yellow so bright his eyes took a few seconds to adjust! I was never a believer of love on first sight but as i scrolled further through the add to see the bargain price and the location, from then on ive been struck with a condition some have come to know as.... Audi fever ;)

A quick phonecall and the next day i was 30 odd mile from home with a pocket full of cash and a belly full of smiles looking at this beauty!

I didnt even make it home before the modding bug had bitten me! :D quick stop off a GSF found me sporting a yellow S2000 filter and all the service parts i could fit in the boot!

2 weeks later i dug out some old gloss black from the back of the garage and spent the day refurbing the wheels as a stop gap until i find a half decent priced set of Rota Grids.

heres how she looked

very happy man!

Then i was invited to a local Drag and Drift day in my little S3 APY with only 210 BHP (well from new anyway) she was outgunned by alot of the Jap stuff but held her own well with the Haldex system launching her off the line well.

Only loosing to:

A new GTR
A cortina purpose built with a 6.0 v8 under the bonnet (sounded incredible!)
A Scooby do runing stupid power

Managed to pull a 14.99 would be quicker if i went on a diet and didnt have the reaction times of 110 yr old! :D

my favorourite vid:

After that as anyone would i wanted more so decided to get her ready to go straight for a stage 2 revo map or seeing as i have only just realised badger is only a hour up the road im now thinking custom! ;)

Welly Cooler fitting! not half as hard as i thought it would be!

Ignore the pink/purple theme! someone suggested it, i had some lying around, so i did it!.... now waiting for payday so i can buy some blue or somthing

i have also fitted but no pics!

Decat pipe ready for a cat back Miltek to be fitted
Forge 007P
Forge TIP - soon to be changed for a v2.2 Badger badboy!

looking to also splash out on a 3" DP soon before the remap.

Ideal goal would be a healthy 300hp but i would be happy with 280 i reckon.
As you can tell im going for power first and looks and all the rest after il be keeping her for a good few years to come with a full engine strip and replace taking place during winter 2013 :)

More to come friday aka (Payday!) woow! ;)

Cars looking awesome mate, how long did the intercooler take you out of interest? Can't wait to get mine fitted!

Pretty sure I saw this around Exeter the other day, if its the one I'm thinking of it looked real nice mate!

Cheers buddy! yeah thats probably me! were abouts was it? probably followed by a big cloud of smoke as it blew a boost pipe last weekend :( all sorted now tho!

Nice into post :) it's well written and thought out rather than the usualy ''I just paid £4 for this and want 500bhp'' kind of rubbish that happens all too often

Smart looking car :) the imola yellow cars look so great on black OE wheels

14.99 sounds more than respectable for a stock 210 car as well! good going

Thanks buddy! it was a very quiet day in the office when i wrote it as you can probably tell! haha

Once i have got the performance side of things respectable im hopefully going to pick up some Rota grids in maybe a gun metal shade and retire the OE 17's to trackwheels me thinks but thats a ways off at the minute.

i was quite happy with 14.99 managed to keep a vxr and non tuned scooby doos at bay (apart from the one i forgot to flip the traction control off on :( ) .......... quite embarrassing!

Are you a saffa, thats genuine saffa slang :)

What did you use to secure the cooler top and bottom? Is it some sort of steel bar?

Angle iron mate, brought a meter of it then chopped a inch off either end for the brackets think it cost around a fiver all in with bolts etc :)
