Unique fish tanks.

Me and the wife acquired a 3L smirnoff bottle many years ago and its been sat in the loft ever since.
With the talk of fish tanks in the pub thread got me thinking. I wonder if we could turn this 3L glass bottle into a mini fish tank.

External pump and filter and some cold water fish.
With the neck of the bottle being about an inch I can't put anything in it that will grow to big cause I'd have to mash it up to get it out if it dies.

Any fish experts out there got any ideas, recommends on fish, pump filter or even its possible?

Its empty.
There is no vodka in it. we've drunk it all.............I think, I can't remember.

just buy a little nano tank that will look 1000 times better than a 3L vodka bottle !

.. plus keeping fish in something as small as 3 litre and badly shaped is bad times imo and the fish arnt likely to survive mate

You wouldnt be able to get any sort of filter in top. Smallest external pump piping might JUST squeeze in but you`d have no oxygen getting in and they`d die. Trying to keep the levels right in such a small tank would be a nightmare too. The bigger the tank the easier it is to control water quality.

Thought it be something different, not really thought about the fish or whatever is in it not living.
I've seen goldfish in smaller bowls, so assumed it be ok.

In all seriousness though have you considered a BiOrb fish tank? I've got one and they are fantastic bits of kit. Easy to maintain and look great too.
