Stage 1 remap

Afternoon all


Not long had my S3 but have had new clutch done and Cambbelt is being done in the next few weeks. Car is standard other than a K+N panel filter, was wondering if I need to upgrade anything else etc for a stage 1 map?!?


Also which n where are the best places to get this map done?! Not sure wether to get a map which you can take off if needed either, all ideas/opinions welcomed

Badger 5 TIP would be nice! And a catch can/ PCV delete. Also make sure there's no boost leaks! And get a good stage1 map from a reputable tuner!

for a map its really got to be r tech or badger what ever is closest, id say give it a good service plugs, oil etc, check for leaks, pcv and n249 are easily done (look in stickies), a new tip badger 5 as said or a oversized sfs standard dv should be ok but if you do want to up grade go for a forge again look in stickies

yeah should do fine, if im correct in thinking that the forge ones are not that amazing unless you get a new one as they have been revised? could be majorly wrong

The standard plastic DV has been tested by Bill badger at over 30psi with no leaks!

Aye Jase, Bill also tested a whole load of aftermarket DVs, and most of them leaked! There's vids on fb.
