Battery/scuttle cover.... wheres the best place to get them

Hi,
I fancy putting a couple of these additional covers on my 3.0 TDI cab, and as I already have a full plenum chamber and battery cover from the factory I was wondering if anyone knows if the passenger side front cover (by washer bottle lid) fit all engine variants? As the EPC only show it on the V8.
Also does anyone know the pt. no. for the additional cover by the A/C pipes and air filter?
Many Thanks.

The rs4 washer cover fits with a little trimming! Will check the part number on my A/C cover later if i remember.
Note: it just sits in place as there's no fixings for the A/C cover (well not on mine anyway, been there over a yr without any trouble)

Just picked mine up this morning.

I hadn't for a minute considered anything other than the cosmetic appeal of this - after a chat with the parts guy at Audi, there's significant purpose in getting these fitted.

If you've fitted one, you should also check for a rubber grommet located under your battery and get it removed.

If you've not got this panel - remove the grommet anyway and also get this part ordered up ASAP.

Hi, well I lent my 3.0 TDI cab to my mate tonight as he is doing a journey approaching some 400 mile today (Sunday) and in return he lent me his S4 B6 Cab, so I have had a look under the bonnet and he has the washer bottle cover, so tomorrow when he returns with my car tomorrow I will take his cover off and attempt at fitting it to my car to get some idea of how well it fits
If you could post the pt. no. of the A/C cover it would be appreciated bud.

I trhink I've found the part number for the washer bottle cover, here.

If I'm right, it's 8E0 103 927.

Cheers guys I have taken note of the numbers, and will order next time at my local stealers.

i think the part you need is the ecu cover as you thought, although when you remove the cover on mine underneath is the bare ecu and wiring for it. I don't have the smaller black box like you. Anyway I think the part number you need to investigate is 8E2 907 613D and its £19 + vat. I hope this helps, if I can do anything else please let me know.

Just got back from 10 days in Mexico so caught up on this......Cheers Chris, thats great buddy. Will get it ordered up

Im after the covers that cover the battery area at the top of this picture...where have people got theres from and what do i need.
All i have is the one on the right hand side

Hi, I'm new to this so please be patient.. I have a similar problem to the ones iv seen in these posts (see photo). I have contacted Audi about this & have been told there was never a part made for my model? My model is Audi A4 Avant 170bhp special edition, registration 2008 (old shape) not the new shape... But having seen a lot of posts on here that may not be the case? Can anyone help.. Thanks

Follow this Mate....this is all you need to know. My understanding is that they don't show up as VAG parts on the dealers parts system, as such for our models....but the parts are there, and use the codes of this Blog Audi A4 Engine Cover Kit Install | Audiction.com
Cheers
A

I'm afraid you've fallen victim to the spectacularly bad and unhelpful attitude that too often prevails in the part departments of Audi dealers. If it wasn't fitted at the factory, they will tell you til they are blue in the face that the part doesn't exist for your car. It does, and with the help of this forum, you can identify the part number you need, and then just order it and ignore them when they say it won't fit. Bertter still, check out your nearest branch of Trade Part Specialists. With a bit of luck, it'll be one that is happy to sell to the public and you can save money too by cutting out the dealer markup.

how odd!!

I just checked my b7 2008 Cab and it has one already fitted, the whole tray and covers and it looks pretty
grubby ie it's been there a while !!

Was about to order a cover and decided to check the drain holes only to find it had a cover already?

I got mine from Stoke Audi parts.. they are sponsors on here, and cheaper than the Reading dealership near me.

Hi
I tried a dealer in Crawley and they said the parts re for an Audi V8... are these part numbers for an Audi A4 BRE B7?

My understanding is that these VAG parts aren't recognised on the Audi dealers system....but they are there and are vag parts. The codes on the Audiction posting are correct...cause that's what I used to order mine.

Where did you order these parts from? I tried a dealer in Cawley and they said the parts are for a V8 Audi....

On my b7 3.0 tdi the battery is to the right and brake fluid reservoir to the left - so different to many of your setups? Need to make sure I order the right parts. Just drained 3" of wtare out of battery well!

A quick check in the parts diagram will give you the correct P/N .

Nice one thx - I got the battery cover and mian cover - just sorting the ecu cover now. They dont list for my model but the V8 ones fit fine..
