I had my battery disconnected yesterday which obviously reset the ECU, only thing I've noticed not working since is the windows don't auto wind down when u hold the button for a second - how do I fix this/turn it back on?
On my 8L all I do is press down until the window is fully down, keep finger on button for a couple of secs, then do the same closing, when closed keep finger on for a second and that's it. Think it just learns where to stop and start the motor....like I say mines an 8l but it may work
Operate your windows down then all the way to the top. Once they stop at the top, let the switch go , and then hold it in the (up) position for at least a couple of seconds . This should reprogrammed it to auto
While I don't doubt it has been discussed, I could not find anything obvious relating to my problem in the first 65 search results. Hence I made my own post
I find that extremely strange, because my search for "auto windows reset" brought up your thread 1st & this as 2nd, which details in post 3 how to reset:
I can understand your logic, but its one of the reasons for repeated threads unfortunately fella, people wont read through threads to see if it has any related info, anyway everydays a school day
