Sammi and I had both the B7 Special Edition 2.0tfsi and our B6 V8 S4 remapped today by Angel Tuning. they came to us at home armed with laptops, diagnostic equipment and tools and spent the lion share of the day tinkering with both cars. first they road tested both cars so they could make sure they drove ok and to set a benchmark from where to start from. This followed a discussion with me about how I wanted the map to work, aggressive progressive etc etc. I wanted a progressive map on both cars so work started from there. the B7 was pretty straight forward the car ecu was read and uploaded onto the programme they use and once tht was done a diagnostic check was carried out. Once the correct map was selected it was wired back to the car.
The S4 was a little more involved as the ecu was removed from the car separated and then connected to the laptop and had the programme uploaded. Once both cars were done we carried out another road test and fine adjustments were made to the map. Once I was happy job done and I paid them.
OMG What an astonishing difference to both cars. The S4 has become something of a savage beast, the responsiveness has increased 10 fold and the pace the car now has is unbelievable for what already is a very fast car.
The B7 is much the same story the turbo comes in sooner with more boost and the car pulls hard to the redline in all gears, the car has been improving with the modifications I have made since purchasing the car mainly down to the forge diverter I put in but tht now only complements this awesome map...
as you can guess we are both really happy and would recommend angel tuning. I'm sure the fuel consumption would be better too but will report that once the child in me has vacated and I'm back to seeing how many miles I can squeeze out of a tank.
