Hello peeps, I've asked a few questions on here, lets hope someone can tell me if I'm doing right or wrong, or the latter.

Over the past 2 years I've been constantly trying to get my special edition upto scratch. Unfortunately every time I think I'm ready to get it mapped, something else pops out of the wood work. So after getting endlessly ****** off and loosing the will to live, several threats to sell and torch, I think I'm ready.

so here's where I'm upto.

BSR Optiflow intake
forge diverter (not bov)
De cat pipe
APR stage 3 endurance clutch with lightened single mass fly wheel

Can I jump straight to stage 2, without a front mount intercooler? Is there anything else recommended?
Can I literally go get them to plug it in and drive away with a smile on my face?

Also has anyone used APR for a remap on the same car? If so what figures have you achieved?

Thanks for reading, hope you can help :)

You'll need a high pressure fuel pump as well, expect around 270bhp mark. Totally transforms the car.

Hoping its Quattro you have?

yeah it's a quattro mate, apparently APR say that stage 2+ requires high pressure fuel pump?

Nice, that's my kind or torque figures! It's definitely a keeper so I'm aiming higher. Wanted to go k04 stage 2+ and possibly aim even higher. The amount this car has cost me is unreal so there's just no point selling it for anything else. Mite aswell turn it into a weapon lol! What have you done suspension wise?

dont do it
go big turbo or K04 hybred

i can't quite afford it yet mate, but I need something coz I've had it 2 years and it just needs that little bit more, atleast then it will put me on till I can buy another k04 now I've got my priority s in order lol!

in that case do the HPFP and stage 2+
ot will keep you happy for a few miles.

then get a ****** K04 hybred it and get other parts and your laffing

thats a good plan mate, just need to find one for a reasonable price. Got my eye on a hpfp as we speak :)

been dieing to go k04 for ages, but I think it will be more rewarding after I've smoked the k03s lol

I'm in the same place as you craig ,running a turned down st2 map until i can sort the cat out ,then turn it up a bit until i can afford to do internals and turn the ko4 i have in the garage into a hybrid.Got a beefy clutch waiting to be fitted ,ordering a smfw steel this week ,cat and springs next month, hoping to do ko4 next year.

Sounds good mate, I've also been looking in the direction of rods and pistons So I can really get some kick out of it, then I think I better look in the direction of brakes lol!

K04 is defiantly happening now, so pics will be up soon as I get closer. Hoping to install by September. Here's the apr stage 3 endurance clutch to start with :)

Yeah totally, last thing I wana do is pump a load of money into it and then bend a rod. My mechanic is gonna do the rods and pistons at the same time as doing the s3 injectors, hpfp and the k04, then just a matter of taking down to APR for a few days. Probably looking more like feb to July next year now. But I'm hoping sooner.
