3 door "oem look" roof rails?

Hi all,

I absolutely love black sportbacks with silver roof rails. They look awesome.

Is there any options for this on a 3dr that doesn't look like crap? I know there are no fittings however, just curious.

lol i kno, but every time I look at my A3 I think ... some silver rails would set that off ... might look daft (even it it was doable) on a 3dr tho :S

Theres just some things a sportback can pull of that a 3 door cant
 
All right, all right, I get the message .... jeez! Whodathunk a small question about roof rails would turn in to a 3dr vs sportback smackdown? ... Actually, I could have guessed.

Sad thing is, I did want a sportback.
 
3 door is just soo much sexier though... Just thought ill add some more fuel to this :)

I was thinking of getting these for my car but just saw the price on them and was like Whoda!!!

Just save up and buy a sportback

Oh no he diden ... Also, have you ever seen a woman back-out to get out from the rear seats of a 3-door? Who'd want to miss out on that?

From what I have seen Audi are now offering the grandad extras pack to all the sportback owners.

Those loafers do look affa comfy!

As for roof rails; leave them for sportbacks, they'd make the 3dr look ever shorter in comparison.

Lol I would let them go for a bit less and I know of a few people that fit them, infact its not hard to do it yourself. But they add so much character to the car, I'd fit them to mine but i'm thinking of selling it.
 
Sportbacks are a lot more classier, more car for your money, look better, no headache of getting out to let someone in or out, you can do more to a sportback, Roof rails are a prime example. No offence to anyone, but in my opinion, the Sportback is for the men and the 3 door is for the ladies. Just the size of it justifies what I'm saying
 
For goodness sakes, go for a sportback. Better than being seen driving a supermarket trolley any day lol (Oh my, did I actually say that?).

No offence but "just the size of it justifies what im saying" is probably a freudian slip relating to your original purchasing decision. Oh yea, in yo face.

Lol the last bit made me laugh. Buy a 5 door, you'll never want a 3 door again!!!
