I've been meaning to get this done, my tyres are about due so I think now is the time, can anyone recommend somewhere in Hampshire that can do proper four-wheel alignment?

alignmycar.com doesn't seem to show anyone up locally...

Hi,
On my Mercedes AMG and C230K I have used Tyreland on the Ind. Est. opposite McDonalds on West Quay Road, they had a Hunter alignment machine IIRC, though I believe the chain has been taken over by Micheldever Tyres now so it may of changed, there tyre prices were competitive too.
I also used Micheldever Tyres at Micheldever for both tyre replacement and four wheel alignment but its a bit of a trek out.

Thanks I'll check them out, I would appreciate genuine recommendations as I don't want to just take a punt, or pay Southampton Audi £170!

£170, standard stealers price lol

I think I paid £40 - £50 for my last quattro alignment.

I'll check tyreland and the wheel alignment center out, happy to take more pointers from anyone else though :)

This is going to sound like a daft question I expect, but does it matter whether I get the alignment done before or after new tyres?

I had mine done at the same time on my cars, it looks like Tyreland and JRock247 recommendation are on the same ind. Est. so not to far to check them both out.

Thanks fella's, apparently F1 Autocentre down there are okay too, I'll make some calls see who makes me feel good :)

2x Micheldever tyres and exhaust, I changed my front wish bones on a mk4 golf and they spent 30 mins setting it back up for me. Well recommend them.

Had my alignment done today from the Wheel Alignment Centre, after seeing the mention on Pistonheads, knowing how big a bunch of car-geeks they are I went with that :sm4:

The guy who runs the place is real down to earth, when he checked my alignment he said he would charge for doing the rear because the adjustment required was so small, even though he did do it.

Gave me a before/after printout, I don't really understand alignment geometry, all I know is there were some red/amber areas on his display that were green afterwards

I think having driven 18000 with it wrong, the correct settings almost feel "wrong" because I was compensating while driving, so a week or so in it will probably get me used to it.

My readings, for anyone remotely interested are as below
