Well here we go. I finally got the car rolling roaded in the hope that i could dispell all the doubters over REVOs claims of 305bhp.

The chart speaks for itself. I have a very strong stock motor at 248.6bhp at the crank. In stock there is a strange dip at circa 3500.

Check out the Mode 2 figures!!!!! I am delighted to say the least!!!

297.1bhp, 354 lbft torque.... Superb.

I am now ready for all the dyno this dyno that, its never acurate, it might have been too hot , too cold, too dry, too wet discussions

:yahoo:

Thank God for that :) How come there is such a small difference between the performance modes and so high stock ?
I take it you have the SPS then Rig ? How come Performance Mode 2 is better than 3 ? and what mode is ours running when it was remapped ?

Impressive figures

Nope no SPS. They set it which ever way you request when its installed. Mine was on 1 but i got them to change it to 2 which is for VPower fuel i think. I am still shocked at the 248 stock figure. That is way over the 211 Audi advertise.

Hmmm. What next.........Bigger intercooler, turbo back exhaust????? Hmmm time to sell one of the kids...... :slap:

Youve got me confused here :scared2: What are the performance modes then ? Are they the three runs it had on the Rolling Road or are they the results of all the different settings of the SPS ?

They can set it into different settings when they are doing the re runs. They ran 4 runs. Stock,1,2 and 3. I chose 2 as 3 looked rubbish. It's nowt to do with the sps. It's done by the garage installing the map.

Did you ask them why the drive train losses varied so much?

Ahh right i see now, I still don't understand why it is so high stock though ?

Shame the one thing I was interested in isn't shown : Boost pressure

Another small observation. I was getting high 30s mpg on mode 1. I had it set to mode 2 and got an astonishing 43.7mpg on the same run i do every day. similar conditions and driving style. happy days

can you not change the map settings yourself w/out the SPS then?

It turned out to be a fantastic run.
Did they pull any fuses out of your car rig before they put it on the rolling road ? I have just had a look at Wallace Performance where you got yours done and they have exactly the same Rolling Road where i went to get mine done which only span the rear wheels and the the front wheels every so slightly.

Nope. Or not as far as i can tell. Its a map on the ECU. I cant see anyway i could access that.

Mine had to get the abs disconnected as the brakes were cutting in, didn't they do that on yours? Mine is FWD btw!

Who are you talking to me or Rig ?
Mine is 4wd.

shame, i was looking at another site and you can pick your map using the cruise control button, means you can turn off the map if you're taking the car in for service etc.

just got a protune van in the carpark, had a look at their site but it's very bland w/ no details (ie figures) at all about what increases you can get.

i found same thing with protune so i rang them , am still running there stage 1 now no problems and i havent lost the trafficlight drag strip challage yet .

Great figures. Is is running on Vpower with an uprated filter?

Mine ran 235/280 on std unleaded last week.

Std is 208 as 211 is in PS.
