Thought I was in need of a new exhaust this morning!

I drove onto my local car boot sale, then all of a sudden heard a noise which was like an exhaust dragging, pulled over had a look and thought wtf?

Got the missus to see we're the sound was from ( was near side rear wheel), took wheel off for inspection to find it was a stone between the disc and a metal gaurd type thing?

Anybody else had this, I must of been unlucky for one to just wedge in haha!

Yep, had that before.

You effectively saved several hundred quid so go ahead and spend it on something else, its now free money in your pocket. Thats my logic any how

Yep, once spent a day on Welsh roads with this horrible noise. Like chalk on a board but worse ....

Smack the guard for a bit and it falls out eventually.

Good excuse to remove the dust guards !

Mine went when the brake kit went on.
